paAIMT
An enzyme which was designed into the artificial biosynthesis pathway of 4VA synthesis. The original function of paAIMT was converting t-anol or isoeugenol to t-anethole or methylisoeugenol, respectively, via methylation of the para-OH group. The codon usage was optimized for expression in E. coli.
